Our recent CSR activities

Worldwide fundraising action - When Rio Grande do Sul suffered a climate disaster last April, our colleagues in Acorizal (Brazil) made a call for help, as many of them have family and friends in the affected region. Various support initiatives were set up, including raffles and the sale of candy bags.

All funds raised were donated to a local relief organization with "boots on the ground" to meet the daily needs and aid reconstruction efforts.💙💚💪

Environmental Day in Santa Fe - Our team joined forces with the kids of a local primary school in Sauce Viejo (Argentina) to clean up the areas around the school, sorting waste into paper, cardboard, plastics, and organic materials.

As a token of gratitude, we gifted each child and teacher a seedling and gelatin candy produced in our plant. 🌿🌏

Environmental Awareness Day - A day full of activities with the local school kids in Acorizal (Brazil), including a biking tour to promote a healthy lifestyle and eco-friendly transportation; distributing car trash bags to support responsible waste disposal and the donation of fertilizers produced with the waste of our wastewater treatment plant.🚲🌱

Finally, we handed out seedlings to passing drivers, generously donated by EMPAER-Empresa Matogrossense de Pesquisa Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural. 

World Cleanup Day - Several PB Leiner teams got into action. Team Acorizal (Brazil) traditionally cleared litter from the banks of the Cuiabá River. Team Santa Fe (Argentina) partnered with a local primary school, where the kids received plants lovingly nurtured by children with disabilities from Empleame.org. 🌱

Team Davenport (US) has been consistently active, partnering with ilivehereqc.org for regular cleanups. Team Vilvoorde (Belgium) came equipped with a wheelbarrow, while team Hainan (China) leaned up the aftermath of the recent typhoon. 

Support Children's Hospital - "When a child smiles, the world becomes a better place", some say. And our Treforest team wholeheartedly agrees. For the second time our UK colleagues are spring-cleaning the garden of the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity in Wales. 

After a day of hard work - and lots of fun 🤗 - our PB Leiner team transformed the weathered playground into a glistening haven, where the young patients can go out again to play and have fun. 💙 💚

3 years without accidents -  Both our teams in Nienburg (Germany) and Acorizal achieved an impressive milestone: three years of maintaining a safe workplace. This means that, for three years straight, every single one of our colleagues returned home safely to their families.
